The entry to the house style. Approachable without being simple — built for the first drink of the evening and for anyone still deciding what they like.
The house benchmark. Twelve years in ex-bourbon oak with a short sherry finish — the expression we would pour to explain what the brand is for.
Eighteen years, first-fill sherry throughout, non-chill filtered. Released in small allocation each year and not held back for anyone.
One cask, bottled as it came, numbered by hand. Strength and character vary by release — that is the point of it.
Origin to Shelf
Importing whisky properly is unglamorous work. Casks are selected at source, shipped under bond, cleared through customs and released state by state under separate excise approvals.
We handle that chain ourselves rather than buying finished stock on the open market. It is slower and it costs more — but it is the only way to know exactly what is in the bottle.
Our team noses and samples at the distillery or bonded warehouse. Casks that do not meet the house profile are declined.
Filled, labelled and sealed abroad under the producer's supervision — never re-bottled after shipping.
Temperature-managed containers, full chain-of-custody documentation, customs clearance on arrival in India.

Serving
Not rules. Simply what we have found works, from people who drink it often.
A tulip glass, no ice, five minutes to open up. This is how we assess everything before it is approved.
Still mineral water at room temperature, added slowly. It lowers the alcohol burn and lifts the aromatics — particularly at cask strength.
Best with The Reader. A tall glass, plenty of ice, good water. There is no shame in a highball in Indian weather.
